About Mostly Overspill

Hello, I’m Chris. Welcome to Mostly Overspill.

This is my little corner of the internet for writing about everyday life, the things that get us thinking, and all those observations that probably deserve a conversation.

Sometimes it’ll be something funny. Sometimes it’ll be a bit of a rant. And occasionally, I might actually have something sensible to say.

I’ve always enjoyed having somewhere to share my thoughts, but I wanted to create something where I could just sit down and write. No chasing the latest news, no sticking to one particular subject, and no complicated publishing schedule.

That’s where Mostly Overspill comes in.

I’ll be writing about the funny, frustrating and sometimes ridiculous parts of everyday life. Social habits, little annoyances, things I’ve been up to, changing interests and whatever else gets me thinking.

The idea isn’t to tell anyone how to live. It’s to share experiences and opinions that might make you laugh, nod along or think, “I’m glad it’s not just me.”

What can you expect?

Mostly personal stories, everyday observations and opinions. Some will be light-hearted, others a bit more thoughtful.

There’s no fixed publishing day. New articles will arrive whenever I’ve got something worth sharing, and everything is free to read.

Why subscribe?

If you enjoy relatable stories, a bit of humour and hearing someone else’s perspective on everyday life, hopefully you’ll feel at home here.

I’d love Mostly Overspill to be a conversation rather than just me talking into the void, so comments and replies are always welcome.

Thanks for being here.

Chris
